Hi, I’m Sabrina —

Mindful Yoga by Sabrina (MYBS) founder & Yoga Therapist, slow living advocate, and new mama on the block. Welcome to my little personal corner on the internet!

Before you get stuck in, subscribe and stay updated when I post new content. It’s a growing library of guided video and audio practices — from breathwork, meditations, mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques, and somatic practices.

I’m incredibly excited about being here! It’s taken what feels like forever to have found a platform that feels right for my community — one that’s authentic, offers you real value, and has breathing room (yes…I’m talking about a spam-free, ad-free reading experience that is the Substack app. Literally the complete opposite of what facebook has become, and it’s utterly refreshing!)

Here’s what you can expect from me…

I’m here to help you (and me) stay accountable and consistent with the practices in your health & wellbeing toolkit.

I see it so often with in my 1-on-1 client work, they start living the real benefits that yoga-inspired tools can bring beyond the physical self. Their nervous system regulates, they’re breathing easier, feeling more at ease, and are starting to remove some of that mental clutter that’s been weighing down on them.

They tell me things like:

“It feels like what’s been weighing on me for ages, is finally lighter”

“I’ve been using the MYBS practices right before I have a stressful work call to gain mental resilience”

“These mindfulness tools are like holding up a mirror to what I’m saying and what I’m doing”

My clients are often surprised with how 'simple it all is', yet so effective. We actually don't need all of the fancy gadgets and fads, we have all the answers within us.

So, I’m here to offer you simplicity and give living a slower paced and more mindful life the sexy re-brand it deserves.

Where it takes a turn

The turning point is always when my clients discover that they have had all the answers within themselves the whole time - the body and breath. My goal is that you never need me again.

The reality is that when our 1-on-1 weekly program is complete, clients fall back into their usual habits. Sound familiar?

Me too. I’m definitely not immune to it. Because it’s really really hard to build new systems and methods that are integrated into our lifestyle. It requires a shedding of who we once were to step into a new version of ourselves.

It’s exactly why I’ve developed The MYBS Method℠ which is based on keeping up with your practices as little and often as possible. That might sound counterintuitive, but there’s real merit in it (more on this later in another post).

I’m going to sprinkle some of my method, mindfulness practices, and own personal experience using it all throughout this Substack community. And, I say community with the hope of really bringing together members who are also in the thick of life and are tired of just getting by, feeling like its flatlining.

Life is beautifully messy and we have all of the tools within us to thrive in it, here’s our dedicated space to remind us of that.

Your personal invitation to the MYBS Collective

Be part of a community of people who share your struggles, ambitions, and mindful-living enthusiasm. When you subscribe, I’ll keep things light touch because the whole point of this place is to simplify living and really honour the ‘less is more’ mentality.

Often we try to add things to better our lives, when really we should be asking ourselves, what is it that we need less of?

Never miss an update—every new post is sent directly to your email inbox.
